I'm packing all my things up at the moment ready to move to sunny Birmingham. I seem to spend a lot of time travelling to and from Birmingham, which has a cost on the environment, also where I live inbetween Darlaston & Wednesbury doesn't have good transport links (apart from the M6) so I thought it is a good time for a move.
I'm moving into a very small maisonette near Selly Park, but I'm hoping it will mean I can get involved in the local music scene a bit more. I'm also renting a container up near the East Midlands Parkway Railway station, where I'm also considering buying a barge hull to convert into living accomodation - I'm hoping this will give me car free access to Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield and beyond.
The downsizing has curtailed my musical activities though - although still singiing with the lovely Clarion Singers and performing at local folk clubs (when I can get out).
